Privacy Policy

The PACCAR Build Verification App (PBV App) uses data stored in a cloud database that is maintained and updated by an administrator. The cloud database is referred to as the 'Bill of Material' database.

The Bill of Material database is owned by MAHLE Behr Charleston LLC and is considered MAHLE CL1 for data sensitivity. Despite the MAHLE CL1 designation, users wishing to use the PBV App must have login credentials to view the Bill of Material data.

The PBV App does not transmit any data to the cloud database, therefore, there are no additions, updates or deletions of the data in the Bill of Material.

The PBV App does not store any user provided data. In fields where data is entered, the data is only used to lookup values from the previously defined Bill of Material for a specific part. The data entered is temporal - it is deleted when the PBV App is closed.

The data acquired by the camera is only used to translate a barcode, QRcode, or DataMatrixcode and convert the image data to text values that would have otherwise be entered manually as above.

Accesses to the Bill of Material database are counted to determine data usage and may be used for improving application performance.
